This recipe is for my people who not only love a quick meal, but a quick AND low carb meal. I don’t know about you all, but I love an Asian inspired meal. Especially when they’re so simple and packed with flavor. No one likes to be stuck in the kitchen, especially after a long day. One of the things I love about seafood is that it doesn’t take a long time to prepare. This recipe will have you out of your kitchen within 20 minutes and at the dinner table with your family! The fact that it’s only 6 net carbs is a bonus!

Directions

0/0 steps made
  1. In a small bowl, combine your soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, and chili garlic sauce to make your sauce. Mix well and set to the side.
  2. Rinse you fillet of choice and season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  3. Heat a pan with your oil of choice on medium/high heat. Sear each fillet on both sides for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Once all fillets are cooked, add them all back to the pan and pour in sauce. Reduce heat to low and allow sauce to simmer with your fish fillets for about 5 miuntes.
  5. Turn off heat and you’re all done!

I love cauliflower rice because it takes on any flavor you give it. It’s such a great substitution for rice and takes a fraction of the time to prepare it. It’s amazing what a little sesame oil and Japanese multipurpose seasoning can do for a dish!
